You know exactly what the day is, it’s New Music Friday, which means we’ve been blessed with more music than we can poke a stick at. Here are some of our absolute favourites that came out on this very day, Friday 15th November.

Happy New Music Friday everyone, it’s been an exciting week for music, with a whole load of albums, EPs, mixtapes and singles coming our way.

Here are six tracks you may have missed off your radar that just came out today, featuring Nyxen, Princess Nokia and Tim Ayre just to name a few.

Nyxen – ‘Red P-Plates’

No driving playlist will ever be the same now that Nyxen has released ‘Red P-Plates’. Perfectly capturing the sound of youthfulness in Australia, this song is not only catchy and infectious but also manages to channel exactly what a sunny day would sound like if it was a song. We just… we just love this track okay, give it a listen.

Princess Nokia – ‘Balenciaga’

Princess Nokia drops the fits and drops the hits with her brand new banger ‘Balenciaga’. Fans have been begging the singer-songwriter, rapper and style icon to hop on some bombastic beats for quite some time now, and this track proves exactly why.

Kat Edwards – ‘Don’t Call Me’

Funny how Kat Edwards decides to drop this incredible jam and now my phone wires are all cut in my house. I never want anyone to call me ever again unless it’s Kat Edwards herself. But seriously, this track is the apex of this month’s new tunes, it is just tremendous in every single way that not even words can capture. I’m crying, and you will be too, give it a listen.

Winston Surfshirt – ‘Show Love’

Oof Winston Surfshirt has done it again. This song is pure bliss and we have no choice but to listen to it on repeat. Go give Winston Surfshirt’s new album Apple Crumble, also out today, a listen. There are plenty of tracks just like this one, but ‘Show Love’ has to be our fave.

Jessy Lanza – ‘Stop & Go’

Jessy Lanza has never released a bad song in her entire career, and every time she releases a new one, we have no idea what to expect. But damn, ‘Stop & Go’ is incredible, and Lanza has totally outdone herself with this one. God, how is it possible to play any other song when this exists?

Tim Ayre – ‘Nothing’

What’s better than this song? (See track title for the answer). Tim Ayre has been relentless in his pursuit of excellence, and all he’s really done is casually drop a song or two here and there. But damn, they’re all excellent. All of them. Tim’s self-titled EP is out today as well, so get yourself down to the beach and play nothing but Ayre. Trust us, it’s the perfect combination.
