The new video for ‘Angel Dance’ has been released online, and is the first single from Robert Plant’s new album Band of Joy. It follows his 2007 release Raising Sand, which featured a collaboration with country singer Alison Krauss, and went on to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards in 2009.
The new album takes inspiration from Americana-style anthems set to modern production. Plant said “Band of Joy represented an attempt to create, diversify and celebrate the great dynamics of the music scene in the mid 60s”.
The album is due out September 13th.
