People tend to flirt a little too much with conspiracy theories, especially when fantasising that certain celebrities whom have passed away, are still in fact, alive and kicking.

For those at the headquarters of Dutch beer brand Bavaria, they imagine they are throwing back a couple cases of beer on a secluded tropical island.

That’s right, the Dutch brewing company have produced an advertisement for their fruity “Bavaria Radler” beer that features four deceased music icon, as pointed out by Stereogum (via Dangerous Minds).

In a skin crawling 60-seconds, the Radler ad begins with a drastically aged and overweight Elvis Presley pumping-up an inflatable chair whilst a very comfortable Tupac Shakur has his tummy rubbed with sunscreen by an even more tragically aged Marilyn Monroe.

If this isn’t enough to empty your guts, make sure you’ve got the bucket ready, because what follows is far too much.

Kurt Cobain and John Lennon (who’s appearance is far more reminiscent of Sean Connery in a wig) are reclined on the beach, Kurt in shorts, which is sacrilegious enough as is. The point where your head will fall in your hands is when Lennon shouts to the bartender “Hey Jude” (a McCartney song, thank you) as he flips the peace sign to signal ‘two more for me and my mate here’.

Of course, Bavaria are only poking a bit of fun at deceased rockers, but can you imagine Cobain and Lennon’s reaction in having their imagine used for the sale of beer? And fruity beer at that?
