Rockhampton’s favourite sons, Busby Marou, have just returned from their first tour of the US and Canada with big smiles on their dials. The old saying “no rest for the wicked” certainly applies here. April brings the announcement of the ‘I Still Don’t Believe’ tour which coincides with the release of the deluxe edition of their debut album and their first performance at Bluesfest.
The tour is named after the duo’s brand new single, I Still Don’t Believe. Recorded with Anthony Lycenko (Elvis Costello/Xavier Rudd) in Byron Bay between shows on their most recent tour, and is now available on the newly released deluxe edition; along with covers of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and The Lemonheads’ “If Could Take I’d Tell You.”
This tour looks set to be the last chance for fans to catch up with their mates from Busby Marou before they head back to the US and Canada for the back end of 2012.
