With her first show selling out in just minutes this morning, Regina Spektor has confirmed a second Sydney Opera House concert for Tuesday 11 December to meet the considerable demand.

Tickets for the new show are on sale at 10am today (Thursday 26 July).

The new show will be part of Spektor’s first run of headline shows in Australia and New Zealand since 2010’s sold-out tour that introduced her music to a new legion of fans.

Spektor’s phenomenal voice has guided the way through a prolific catalogue filled with songs of satire, heartache and novelty, manifested in six critically acclaimed studio albums.

The talented troubadour’s latest offering is her much anticipated sixth studio album,What We Saw From The Cheap Seats (out now through Warner).

Joining Spektor on her tour of Australia and New Zealand will be New York songwriter Only Son. Jack Dishel, the man behind Only Son, has lent his musical talents to many critically acclaimed performers over his impressive career, having previously performed with Nickel Eye, Stipplicon and The Moldy Peaches.

Spektor’s amazing talent, enchanting and exquisite performances are guaranteed to leave audiences inspired. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the magic for yourself this December.
