We announced earlier in the week that The Boss would in fact be making his way to our shores next year and while not part of the epic Bluesfest lineup like many predicted, there was more good news to be had yesterday with the announcement that The Boss has DOUBLED his touring schedule, and now, Melbourne fans are in for a treat with the legend announcing a third and final Melbourne show!
Demand in the pre-sale has been unprecedented with tens of thousands of fans trying to snap up tickets yesterday when the noon box office was stampeded by fans keen to get a dose of The Boss for his first Australian visit in a decade.
Promoter Michael Gudinski said “The ticket sales for the tour have been outstanding and it was clear within the first couple of minutes that demand was far going to outweigh the number of tickets we had available.”
“I jumped straight on the phone to Bruce’s people and they have happily agreed to add these additional shows for the general public on-sale on Friday 14 December at 9am local time. It’s fantastic that even more fans will have the chance to secure tickets on Friday, however I do have to stress that shows are strictly limited.”
Tickets will be available to the originally announced shows plus the newly announced shows this Friday at 9am local time.
