We recently announced the stellar lineup for the 2013 Port Fairy music festival which boasted the likes of the inimitable Arlo Guthrie, as well as local artists Gurrumul and Kate Miller-Heidke.

Known as one of the great folk festivals of the world and boasting a line up the was described in 2012  as”mind-blowing” the 37th Port Fairy Folk Music Festival is proud to add to the rich tapestry of the Australian summer music season.

Now, with the announcement that the third round of tickets are not available  the festival has announced even more amazing acts.

Iconic folk singer Xavier Rudd is among those added to the bill. Hitting the stage with n identifiable array of guitars, yidakis (didgeridoos), stomp box and percussion Xavier has refreshed Australians to the sounds and stories of the land’s original owners.  Showcasing a brand new sound, Rudd is a welcome addition to the bill.

Among other acts joining Rudd will be virtuoso guitar player, the UK’s Sean Taylor, Burke & Gase, The London Klezmer Quartet, The Cactus Channel and heaps more!

The 37th Port Fairy Folk MusicFestival  will present a line-up of over 100 inspiring and wonderful international and national acts in a unique program for all tastes and ages as the festival transforms the historic seaside village into a cultural park taking in twenty venues including The Arena, schools, halls, wharf, surf club and more.
