Doc Neeson is the statesman of Rock and has frenzied a generation with his outrageous antics on stage for the last 38 years.
Recently receiving an OAM (Order Of Australia Medal), Doc’s accolades include The Angels 16 Albums and 55 singles, released two solo albums, acted in the mini-series ‘Spirited’ and the film ‘Holy Smoke,’ formed bands with friend David Lowy and performed at numerous charity events.
Inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1998 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2008, The Angels’ powerhouse rock’n’roll is etched into the Australian music history landscape.
James Morley and Bob Spencer (The Angels) head up Australian Rock. Along with good friends from The Choirboys, Boom Crash Opera and Dirty Deeds, they have banded together with the Cherry Bar to give 200 people the special opportunity to Rock For Doc.
Australian Rock set includes: The Angels and Rose Tattoo and play the best of AC/DC. This rock assault features the cream of Australian rock n roll outfits. They come together for special events in between their hectic schedules.
