After fanning their creative flames abroad, writing and recording their much-anticipated new studio album in the UK, cult electronic favourites Seekae are returning home and to prepare the rolling of the red carpet, they’ve announce their frist Australian shows for 2013, playing a string of dates around the country this August and September.

Kickstarting their new national jaunt is their already announced appearance in late August as part of the National Gallery of Victoria’s new Friday Nights at Monet’s Garden gig series, an ongoing set of late night music performances to compensate the largest collection of works from the impressionist painter organised by the Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris in association with the National Gallery of Victoria and Art Exhibitions Australia.

Following the artful kick off, Seekae will be performing songs old and new, warming up for a very busy year, playing stages in Adelaide, Perth, Fremantle, Brisbane, and wrapping up in Syndey for FBI’s 10th Anniversary Concert, playing high in the bill alongside the likes of The Presets, Hermitude, Urthboy, Decoder Ring, The Laurels, The Preatures and more in a celebration of the community radio station’s 10th birthday bash.

Seekae will be set to deliver new material from their first album since 2011’s critically acclaimed +Dome, as well as favourites from that album and 2008 debut The Sound of Trees Falling on People. As compelling in the live setting as they are on record, these are sure to be shows to be talked about for some time.
