The Way Of The Eagle Australian Tour 2013 has been announced, exciting news that arrives direct from ARIA-nominated producer, engineer and composer Jan Skubisewski who is bringing his latest musical creation to the road in a series of shows that will see him performing his new songs live for the very first time.
After working alongside numerous artists including Mark Ronson, Daniel Merriweather, John Butler, The Cat Empire and Owl Eyes Skubisewski has divulged his talents into a solo project, Way Of The Eagle, A creative project that has already been responsible for producing one of Triple J’s most played tracks of 2013, ‘Rattlesnake’.
The hit tune is taken from the EP bearing the same name (out now through Sony). The song, inspired by the Nevada desert and Elvis’ Las Vegas period, captivates audiences with its tale of a venomous femme fatale, expressed via a stunning, raw vocal performance by Dan Sultan. An accompanying animated short film, starring Sultan as ‘The Wanderer’, has been met with almost 45,000 views on YouTube alone (view the clip below).
The upcoming tour will see Way Of The Eagle play at one of Brisbane’s largest music events, BIGSOUND, as well as shows in Sydney and Melbourne. As one of the busiest players in the industry, Jan Skubisewski isn’t one to slow down. After all, the way of the eagle is forward and up.
