A REMi Australian Tour 2014 has been announced to celebrate the release of his forthcoming debut album, Raw X Infinity.

The Melbourne-based lyricist is already Australia’s fastest rising hip hop star, and REMi is now hitting the road once more this June and July for what promises to be his biggest national headline tour dates yet, taking in all capital cities and a number of regional areas yet to be graced by REMi’s presence.

Last year culminated in the 22-year-old being awarded the coveted title of Triple J’s Unearthed Artist of the Year and performing at the sold out NYE On The Hill Festival, as well as performing to packed out crowds at the Falls Festival and The Plot, plus international supports with fellow rap heroes Joey Bada$$, Danny Brown, and De La Soul; topping it all off with his summer jam ‘Sangria’ landing at #85 in the Hottest 100.

Next comes REMi’s much-anticipated debut album Raw X Infinity, out Friday 6th June through his own DIY label House of Beige (and distributed by UNFD), featuring  his regular musical compatriots, Sensible J and Dutch. The album will feature REMi’s two huge hits, ‘Sangria’ and ‘Livin”, as well as brand new single ‘Tyson’ – released today.

Described as “a track about undeniable animalistic energy and being at the peak of your powers like Mike Tyson was in the 1988 era,” ‘Tyson’ is further proof that REMi’s album will fulfil the lofty expectations placed upon it.

Often joined on stage by multiple guests from a variety of musical genres including N’fa Jones of 1200 Techniques fame and Melbourne singer Chris Scott, the forthcoming shows will feature REMi with a full band, and promise to deliver audiences something very special indeed.

Listen to ‘Tyson’ below and pre-order Raw X Infinity online at the 24 Hundred online store, also available in merchandise bundles, from 9th May.
