Eminem Adds 3rd Date To Tour?

Eminem’s Australian tour surely must have been one of the most anticipated this year, so it came as no surprise that many were left disappointed when only two dates, Melbourne and Sydney, were announced.

Promoter Paul Dainty said at the time that a small string of dates was a condition imposed by Eminem’s management for them to be awarded to tour. When tickets went on sale for those dates they each sold out in under 30 minutes, selling over 110,000 tickets.

But Eminem fans didn’t rest on their laurels, taking to social media to organise a campaign to get a third Eminem date added to the tour. Just last week a representative from Dainty Group told media that they were working with the rappers management to try and add a third date, but that they couldn’t confirm anything at that moment.

Now comes news sure to please fans not just up north but those too who missed out on tickets the first time around, Eminem will be playing a third date in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on December 5th. The announcement was made via the official tour twitter last night:

Tickets go on sale 21st October, and if the other dates are anything to go by we’d say make sure you grab your tickets as soon as they go on sale to avoid another disappointment.

UPDATE – In a recent post from Dainty Group  the promoters of the tour ” Listen up Eminem fans…..the BRISBANE show has NOT been confirmed as yet….what you’re reading is all just rumours at the moment.
