Aussie fans of one of modern rock music’s most longstanding acts rejoice – Nickelback have announced their upcoming triumphant return to Australia shores for 2019.

The Canadian natives, who’ll be making their way down under for the first time since 2015 are set to play a slew of massive arena shows along the east coast in support of their most recent album Feed The Machine.

The tour will kick off on Wednesday 13th of February at the Brisbane Entertainment Center, with shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena following.

Those who’ve previously worshipped at the throne of Kroeger & Co will know that a Nickelback show is one chock-full of sing-a-longs and shredding – with classic tracks like ‘Photograph’ at the helm, it’s sure to be a huge night of pure rock.

Joining the ride will be US heavy metal supergroup Bad Wolves, who rose to fame earlier this year with their emotional cover of the Cranberries’ hit ‘Zombie’.

Pre-sale tickets for the ‘Feed The Machine’ tour go on sale Wednesday, October 10th whilst general public sale begins on Thursday, October 11th.

Nickelback stirred up quite the craze recently, with fans uncovering a video of the band covering Metallica‘s hit ‘Sad But True’ back in 2004. Recently there was also a campaign that fought for frontman Chad Kroeger to fill in for Kurt Cobain as part of a Nirvana reunion, receiving a “mixed” response online.
