Five rehearsal tracks that were previously only available on the DVD of the session are going to be included in this double-LP vinyl package, along with a gatefold jacket with exclusive silver foil detailing.

The MTV Unplugged session captured Nirvana under such a unique spotlight and showcased the versatility of the band.

At the point of recording in 1993, the band were global superstars, with Kurt Cobain being elevated to God status within the grunge and rock worlds. Bringing them into the Unplugged environment, we got to see a different element of their artistry.

Diving into deep cuts and covers, the set was well-known for the band foregoing the well-known hits on purpose, instead veering towards tunes by the likes of David Bowie, Lead Belly and The Vaselines.

Coloured vinyl will also be available via the Nirvana website, with the standard reissue of MTV Unplugged being pressed on 180gm black vinyl.
