Bringing their new album Fever Dream with them, Iceland’s Of Monsters and Men are finally getting back out to Australian venues in the New Year.

Hitting up the East Coast in January, the indie favourites are set to perform in Melbourne and Sydney with their first collection of new music since 2015’s Beneath The Skin.

Of Monsters and Men have explored a new, less acoustic-based direction on their new album; you can hear it on their single ‘Alligator’. It’s punchy and rhythmic, with the pop levels turned up a notch.

“It’s like a growth spurt,” vocalist and songwriter Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir  told Billboard earlier this year. “I know that some people won’t like it, because it’s different and people don’t like change, but that’s okay.”

Change is good, and when it’s come to the latest from Of Monsters and Men, change is refreshing too. Still anthemic, the sounds Of Monsters and Men are coming through feel familiar from their ‘Little Talks’ days, but they’re exciting too looking forward.
