This past year has well and truly been a renaissance for yeehaw. From Mason Ramsey, to Mitski, we’ve all tapped into our inner sad cowboy. Perhaps none more than Lil Nas X, who’s viral track ‘Old Town Road’ hit #19 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, only to removed after being deemed not country enough.
Great news folks, we finally have our first ever live performance of the song of the year. ‘Old Town Road’ recently received the Diplo treatment, who remixed the version of the song featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. Lil Nas X and Cyrus rocked up during Diplo’s set at country music festival, Stagecoach, where they debuted the track live. Check out the footage below.
