Pete Doherty has been arrested in Paris for the second time in 48 hours. The Libertines frontman was arrested in the Pigalle district on Friday morning for attempting to buy cocaine. He consequently spent two days in police custody and copped a £4,300 fine.

In pure Doherty fashion, the musician celebrated his release by suiting up in his finest pair of pyjamas and getting on the piss.

Doherty, 40, reportedly went out on Sunday wearing his pyjamas to celebrate his release. During the celebrations, he was allegedly caught fighting a 19-year-old male in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district with a 19-year-old male, who has reportedly filed a police complaint. Doherty is facing charges for violence by a person in a state of drunkenness.

“[Pete wanted to] go and celebrate his liberation in a bar near him,” Arash Derambarsh, Doherty’s lawyer, told the Daily Mail.  “He drank and people made him drink.”

Back in May, Pete Doherty was admitted to hospital after an encounter with a prickly hedgehog.

So it goes, Doherty was walking his two huskies, Zeus and Narco, when one of them scooped up  “the cute wee verminous Shnuffle shuffle Pig of the Hedge.” When attempting to remove the hedgehog from the dog’s jaw, one of the spines got lodged in his hand. An infection arose from the spine and Doherty was forced to go to the hospital to get it removed.

The Libertines are set to kick off a European tour later this month. You can catch them at one of the below dates.
