The Preatures Australian Tour 2013 has been announced to coincide with the release of their brand new five-track EP, Is This How You Feel?, named after their ace single of the same name, and will be available in stores and digitally from August 9.
Recorded, produced and mixed by The Preatures at ‘Doldrums’ – their DIY studio space in Surry Hills, Sydney – the five-track release follows on from last year’s Shaking Hands EP and the band have honed their sound and talents for the release of Is This How You Feel?.
The Sydney five-piece have been gaining a lot of buzz from the EP’s lead single and title track, ‘Is This How You Feel?’, an infectious offering where “delightfully crisp vocals and transient beats will have you hitting repeat”, as we proclaimed when we featured the tune in our regular mixtape. The single also saw the Sydney sensations dazzling audiences on a short June tour of the country, but now, with the release date of their new EP locked in, they’ve barely got time to wash their smalls before they head out to do it all again this September.
Continuing their bumper-to-bumper year of sold out shows, including supporting Los Angeles babes HAIM next week, The Preatures are also thrilled to announce another national headline tour. The aptly named Is This How You Fell? EP Tour will be step-up from their single tour earlier in the year, taking on larger venues to accommodate their rapidly increasing fan base and turning the production dial one step closer to eleven.
