Today we have the pleasure of premiering ‘Temporary’ the hook laden new single from Brisbane’s beneb (aka Ben Mackay).
A follow up to beneb’s debut single, ‘Burning’, which was added to rotation on JJJ Unearthed in 2015, ‘Temporary’ sees beneb reflecting on his religious upbringing as well as introducing his mantra to “not get worried about the small stuff as all things are temporary“.
A talented multi-instrumentalist, everything you hear on ‘Temporary’ was recorded by Mackay himself, truly showcasing beneb’s growth as a songwriter and musical visionary. Driving pop hooks and genre pushing song-craftsmanship ‘Temporary’ is a fantastic introduction to an artist we look forward to hearing a lot more from in the not too distant future.
