Sit back and get ready for a powerful piece of guitar-driven rock, with KIT sharing the immense ‘Good Guy’ today.

If the name KIT doesn’t sound familiar, then you might just recognise her from a different project. The musical moniker of Katie Wighton, fans have been loving her work in the beloved Aussie outfit All Our Exes Live In Texas for quite some time now.

However, with the dust settling on the group’s debut album, KIT found herself ready to write and record some music for herself. Now, lovers of quality tunes are in for a treat, with today’s ‘Good Guy’ serving as her debut offering.

Set for release on April 3rd, ‘Good Guy’ is a guitar-based powerhouse of a debut track, with the monumental composition serving as a perfect introduction to KIT’s work. Calling out every guy who has ever gotten away with bad behaviour, the almost sing-song lyrics of “You can’t be a good guy if you act like the bad guy” convey a frustration that manifests itself throughout this amazing single.

If you’re keen to give ‘Good Guy’ a listen ahead of its official release, be sure to point your peepers downwards and press play.

Of course, if you’re keen to catch this one live, you might be left wanting just a little bit, due to the unfortunate restrictions live performances have seen recently.

Thankfully, KIT has followed the path that many artists have been treading lately, announcing a livestream session to take place across Facebook and Instagram on Friday, April 17th. If you were smart enough to tune in recently to catch KIT’s set as part of the inaugural Isol-Aid festival, then you’d know exactly the sort of brilliance that’s in store for you!
