Sydney’s YEEVS are one of those groups who need to be seen to be believed, and what better chance to do so than with the premiere of the clip to their latest single, ‘Can’t Be Seen’.

For a few years now, Sydney indie-rock outfit YEEVS have been doing the rounds, dishing out fantastic singles, EPs, and live shows at every turn.

Now, the group are set to release their debut album later this year, and to celebrate, they’ve recently released their latest single, ‘Can’t Be Seen’.

Backed by some slick guitars, pounding drums, and the distinctive vocals of Bradley Cork, the tune is a punchy number with an almost cathartic closing that leaves you gasping for more.

But delivering stunning music doesn’t appear to be enough for the group, unleashing the accompanying video for the tune today.

Directed by Nick McKinlay, YEEVS offer up a dreamlike nature with the new clip, which was filmed in Sydney’s inner-west, and sees the group flipping perspectives a little bit while offering up a quirky take on the song and its lyrics.

“The video was shot in various locations around inner-west Sydney including Petersham, Ashfield and Marrickville,” explains YEEVS’ Tom Bamford.

“We were needing an external character to literally drag around these different settings and locations, so who better than our director Nick McKinlay? The video has a bit of a menacing feel to it but it all works out in the end for all involved.

“The video germinated from a dream I had, so it was a tricky thing to let go of the exact images I had in my head because I’d already seen them,” Bamford added.

“However, Nick and I have been good friends for a long time and creatively he’s someone who’s capable of getting on your level and making something beautiful no matter where your head is at, which helps when you’re trying to explain some bizarreo dream.”

YEEVS are set to deliver their self-titled record on August 23rd, and will be hitting the road in September to bring their tunes to the people. Check out all the ticket details, along with the video for ‘Can’t Be Seen’, below.
