A psychedelic painting of George Michael by British artist Damien Hirst has sold for $750,000 at an auction.
The painting, Beautiful Beautiful George Michael Love Painting, was sold at the MTV RE:DEFINE gala, to raise funds for HIV and AIDS prevention and awareness.
The charity gala was held by the Goss-Michael Foundation, started by Michael and his ex-boyfriend Kenny Goss.
