Radiohead are set to unleash a treasure trove of archival concert footage to help fans self-isolating. The shows will be drawn from the Radiohead Public Library and shared on the band’s YouTube page.
The band will release the first instalment, Live From a Tent in Dublin, tomorrow. The performance took place on October 7th, 2000 — a week following the release of Kid A.
“Now that you have no choice whether or not you fancy a quiet night in, may we draw your attention to these entertainments?” Radiohead wrote in an Instagram post announcing the series. “We will be releasing one a week until either the restrictions resulting from current situation are eased, or we run out of shows. Which will be first? No-one knows.”

Radiohead join the legions of band uploading archival footage to YouTube to help music lovers through this bizarre and lonely time. Last month Metallica announced #MetallicaMondays, a series that will see the band upload a full concert from their back-catalogue every Monday.
We’ve also seen musician’s take to live streaming mini-concerts from the safety of their homes. This weekend will see Isol-aid return for its fourth instalment — this time enlisting a roster of international guests.
Earlier this week, Byron Bay metalcore titans Parkway Drive revealed that their new documentary, Viva The Underdogs would hit streaming services on Friday, April 24th.
