The Melbourne Zoo Twilights series is one of the best parts about spending summertime out in Melbourne.
Just like the Sydney series held at Taronga Zoo, the Melbourne Zoo Twilights showcase some of the best Australian talent while also welcoming excellent internationals to the stage as well.
For 2020, the Melbourne Zoo Twilights are looking to amp things up yet again. With the full lineup set to arrive on Wednesday, October 16th, the organisers have revealed that their first act announced for next year’s series is Randy Newman.
Newman’s ‘An Evening With…’ tour has already been announced for January and February, yet putting this iconic discography on the outdoor stage at the Melbourne Zoo, surrounded by wildlife, makes for a unique live show experience indeed.

The program for next year’s Melbourne Zoo Twilights will be running each weekend from January 24th through until March 7th.
As with each year, the proceeds from the concerts will be going towards the Melbourne Zoo’s conservation programs. This year, the funds will be helping the conservation efforts of the crew aiding the survival of the endangered Mountain Pygmy-possum.
