Robbie Williams is apparently blasting music as a way to taunt his neighbour, iconic Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

As you might have heard over the last couple of years, Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page are neighbours who don’t exactly see eye to eye.

Back in May of 2018, it was revealed that the pair had gone to court in order to settle an ongoing dispute over Williams’ plan to build an underground pool at his property.

Page had contended that the proposed work could not only damage the structural integrity of his own dwelling, but would also see him lose privacy, with Williams’ plans allowing him to see into Page’s property.

Despite this, December saw Robbie Williams emerge victorious in his battle, though he was told he would have to adhere to strict regulations in regards to “vibration and ground movement”, with The Guardian also noting Williams had previously been fined for breaching noise regulations.

Now, it seems as though Page’s appeal could be in with a change of succeeding, with Williams reportedly kicking off a campaign of harassment.

As The Telegraph reports, a resident close to the famous musicians has alleged that Robbie Williams has begun a campaign of harassment against the famed guitarist, reportedly blasting out music from Led Zeppelin’s rivals and “imitating” Page’s bandmates.

The local resident, known only as Johnny, reportedly wrote to the council to outline Robbie Williams’ actions for the appeals process.

According to Johnny, Williams had begun playing loud music whenever Jimmy Page would venture into his garden, in addition to dressing up in similar outfits to those worn by Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant.

“The committee may not have been aware that Robbie Williams has been playing loud 70’s rock music on outside speakers when he views Jimmy Page outside his home,” Johnny wrote in his letter.

“What’s been most annoying is that Mr Williams has played rock arch rival bands Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple,” he continued. “He obviously knows this upsets Mr Jimmy Page.”

“There have also been some reports that Robbie Williams has dressed up to imitate iconic Led Zeppelin frontman and lead singer Robert Plant.”

The public relations manager for Jimmy Page told The Telegraph that he hopes to “arrange a meeting” between the two musicians soon in order to settle their dispute. On the other hand, a spokesperson for Robbie Williams called the claims “a complete fabrication and nonsense.”

Whatever the case, this is turning into a series of events better than any sitcom writer could ever imagine.
