More than 40 years after she first tore up the stages as a member of The Runaways, Jackie Fuchs has now added another feather to her cap: Jeopardy! champion.
Back in 1975, Jackie Fuchs joined punk pioneers The Runaways as their bassist. Aged just 15 at the time, Jackie Fox – as she was known – performed with the group for two years, playing on their first couple of records before retiring from the music industry.
Since then, Fuchs has carved out a successful career for herself in a number of fields, most notably as an entertainment lawyer.
However, she’s also become quite fond of appearing on game shows as well, turning up on The Dating Game in the ’80s, and The Chase and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in recent years. Now, she’s turned her attention to Jeopardy!.

As Pitchfork notes, Jackie Fuchs appeared on Friday night’s edition of the show, winning $14,200 and earning the chance to appear on Monday night’s episode as well.

While she managed to get a number of difficult questions correct, there were only a few musical clues on the board that evening.
While Fuchs correctly answered, “In this song by the B-52’s, ‘we were at the beach, everybody had matching towels’” (“What is ‘Rock Lobster?’”), no one was able to answer SZA for the question, “Solana Imani Rowe performs under this 3-letter name, as on ‘All the Stars’ with Kendrick Lamar.”
