Indie Electronic outfit from the Northern Beaches, SameLand., have dropped their official second single in ‘Stranger,’ a lush and high-spirited dance track that will make every day feel like Summer.

Aussie Indie Electronic wonders on the rise, SameLand. have just dropped another single after the incredibly catchy ‘Never Like This’ took over our entire lives. With the new track titled ‘Stranger,’ the group has ushered in a vibrant and tropical feel to warm up our hearts and get our feet on the dancefloor.

Coming in with vocals on this brand new track is Becci Meijer, who is also a fresh face in the music scene, but undeniably a welcome one. Her voice simmers and soars over the beat of this brand new track, making Meijer and SameLand. a match made in heaven. The lyrics that Meijer sings on ‘Stranger’ deal with the ideas of vulnerability, estrangement and most of all, love.

As incredible as Meijer is on this track however, it is the beat that is the star of the show. Whizzing with the same panache as early Flume, then dipping into subtle discotheque nuances are what make this new track so eclectic and exciting. And we just have to talk about the beat switch at the very end of the track, which completely derails the high-energy nature of the track and switches it into something more chilled and cozy. It’s a moment that hearkens to iconic producers like Tinashe, and it is utterly addictive.

Just in case you haven’t been keeping up to speed with the dawning of SameLand., they are essentially a musical group from Sydney Australia, led by Luke Clark as head music producer and leader of the group. SameLand. (full stop included) comprises of musicians and songwriters across the northern beaches.
