There’s a brand new festival coming to the Gold Coast and the lineup is impossibly thicc. SandTunes Festival will be touching down at Coolangatta Beach this November, and fuck, if you never did schoolies, now’s your chance.
The festival is set to be headlined by Hottest 100 favourite and pop culture juggernaut Travis Scott. This will be Scott’s only Australian appearance, and the first time he’s graced our shores since releasing his third full-length record, ASTROWORLD.
In what is quite possibly the best news ever, 80s pop revivalist and bona fide disco queen Carly Rae Jepsen will be jumping on the lineup for her first Australian performance ever. I know it’s hard to stomach an unjust world in which it’s 2019 and Australian punters haven’t been blessed with the silky, sexy pop stylings of E•MO•TION and E•MO•TION: Side B but it’s true, Miss. Carly has never once performed here. I have found my will to live.
Joining them will be international heavy-hitters Logic, JuiceWRLD and CHVRCHES; as well as a slew of local legends like Tkay Maidza, WAAX, Cub Sport, Kwame, Sampa The Great, and more.
