Byron bay surf punks Skegss have just dropped the ultimate slacker anthem, ‘Save It For The Weekend.’ In the spirit of all things hump day, the zesty new single is a call of arms for all those who are gagging for Friday night to come.
The band have also dropped an accompanying music video for the track. The Mad Max-inspired clip sees the band wholly embrace the great yeehaw renaissance. It’s a bloody cooker, check it out below.

The band recorded the track after wrapping up their whirlwind US tour. Traversing to the desert to record and the famous Joshua Tree CA studio Rancho De La Luna, a studio that has hosted the likes of Queen of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey and Kurt Vile.
The band are set to descend on the Yours & Owls stage this weekend for what is destined to be a ripper set. Suss the full lineup below.
