Earlier today it was confirmed that Fountains of Wayne founder Adam Schlesinger has been hospitalised with COVID-19. The musician is on a ventilator but is not in a coma, contrary to initial reports.

“Thank you for the outpouring of love for Adam and his family,” Fountains of Wayne frontman Chris Collingwood shared in a statement. “Adam has been hospitalized with COVID-19. He’s on a ventilator and has been sedated to facilitate his recovery.

On a more positive note, last month footage emerged of an Italian death metal enthusiast that took to his balcony to serenade neighbours with a rendition of Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’ whilst the country was in lockdown. Check it out here.
