Frontman Corey Taylor of Slipknot broke his foot right before heading on stage at a recent Finnish concert, but managed to still carry on with the performance.

U.S. outfit Slipknot are noted as being one of the biggest names in metal. With their enthralling, masked performances, this hardcore band knows how to put on a show and keep the raw energy thriving at their gigs regardless of circumstances.

Only last month, iconic Tortilla Man smashed his head into the drums causing himself to bleed. Now, it’s frontman Corey Taylor’s turn to prove that the show must go on. In his recent Finnish gig, he reportedly broke his foot only moments before going on stage.

After he was seen hobbling, Taylor turned to the crowd to reveal exactly what was up. “As I was coming up on stage an oxygen tank fell from a case and landed on my foot,” he said. “I’m fairly certain I have broken bones in my foot.”

With fans bracing themselves for the gig to be canceled, Taylor quickly set their minds at ease by saying, “So… there’s no way that we’re not fucking playing this fucking show – I’m just letting you know…”

“I may have to hobble around and just fight through it, but I’m gonna give you everything I’ve got, goddammit. You gonna give me everything you’ve fucking got?!”

Luckily for punters, Slipknot was able to continue their show. Although Taylor had to hobble around, and not remain as active as he usually is, he gave the performance his best, and hopefully sought out medical attention afterwards.
