It’s been a long time coming, Slipknot have finally announced their new album WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND. This is the first new record we’ve received from the band band since 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter.
WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND is set to drop on August 9, through Roadrunner. To celebrate, the band have shared a brand new single ‘Unsainted.’ The track comes with an accompanying music video, directed by the band’s percussionist M. Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan. The video has also given fans the first look at the new era of Slipknot masks and they are unsettling as hell. Check it out below.

It is worth noting that a new percussionist has featured in both the music video and the band’s updated press shot. Their identity is yet to be revealed.
Earlier this year it was revealed that longtime percussionist Chris Fehn was reportedly being booted from the group after filing a lawsuit seeking withheld funds. Whilst the band issued a statement claiming that Fehn had officially left the band band, the rocker’s lawyer has disputed this.
