Slum Sociable are hosting the first instalment of their 'Annual Slum Social Xmas Special' this week. To celebrate, we asked the band some festive questions.

Slum Sociable are hosting the first instalment of their ‘Annual Slum Social Xmas Special’ this week. The band will be hitting The Corner Hotel in Melbourne to bring good tidings to all this festival season. They’ll be taking along Two People, Ro and DJ Bad Santa.

To celebrate this inaugural event, we asked the band a couple of pressing, festive, “Would You Rather” questions. Check it out below.

Tone Deaf: Would you rather have Christmas tree tinsel for hair OR have fingernails that light up like Christmas lights?

Definitely fingernails that light up like Christmas lights. I’m just having a look at mine right now and they’re in quite a state. If I could get them looking a little sexier this year? Well damn. It’d be a dream come true.

Tone Deaf: Would you rather have to loudly sing the chorus of “Jingle Bells” every time you walk into a room for a week OR have to wear a Santa suit every day for a week?

Santa suit every day for a week. Similar to wearing a hi vis at a festival, you look like you’re important wearing a Santa suit in December. You’d be able to waltz in to any Christmas party you like and take advantage of the free drinks + nibbles.

Tone Deaf: Would you rather live in a giant gingerbread house or ride on the Polar Express?

I’m gonna say ride on the Polar Express but only because living in a Ginger Bread House would be fucking disgusting. I’m hesitant to go near one after like 3 days of it being unwrapped. So the idea of living in one is just atrocious.
