Yep, that’s right, Solange Piaget Knowles, Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, performer, artist, filmmaker, Harvard Arts prize recipient and Avant-garde R&B trailblazer, has announced today that she will be returning to play four shows at the Sydney Opera House.
At the beginning of 2020, Solange will be returning to play four exclusive shows at the iconic venue, for what is currently her only headlining shows announced in the world for next year.
On top of this, these set of announced shows will be Solange’s only Australian shows next year, akin to her string of Opera House shows in 2018, which were apart of VIVID Live, and were absolutely incredible.
Solange will be coming by to showcase her brand new album When I Get Home, an absolutely adored and critically acclaimed project that fuses nuances of Afrofuturism, Avant-garde tendencies, black excellence, and the expected sounds of elevated vocals into one cohesive album. The new show will feature a completely fresh 360° visual set, much like her VIVID Live performance but better, and will also undoubtedly feature performances of songs from her 2016 masterpiece A Seat At The Table.

In 2020, Solange returns to headline the same venue for the first time in her career. The American R&B superstar is set to bless Australian audiences with a brand new live showcase of her incredible new record, When I Get Home across four nights in the Concert Hall.”
Tickets for this run of shows go on sale Friday, 23rd August at 9AM AEST, with a pre-sale opening at 9AM AEST on Wednesday, 21st August. Be warned that these shows will sell out, so get in quick.
