Rapper Soulja Boy has been accused of sexual assault and abuse of his former assistant, as revealed by newly obtained documents by Pitchfork

The documents reveal that the rapper’s former assistant – identified under the pseudonym Jane Doe – has claimed that she suffered multiple instances of physical violence which included punching, kicking, spiting, threats, and sexual assault.

In addition to this, Jane Doe is also suing Soulja Boy for false imprisonment, emotional distress, gender violence, creating a hostile work environment, failure to pay the minimum wage, unpaid overtime and reimbursements, amongst other things.

Jane Doe claims that just one month after starting work for him in 2018, Soulja Boy began sending her unsolicited photos of his penis. His former assistant claims they then began a romantic relationship in January 2019 and his alleged abusive behaviour started just one month later.

Does’ lawsuit claims that the rapper said “I should have killed you,” following an incident in April 2020, and that he locked her in a room “for three days against her will,” and also raped her “on numerous occasions.”

Doe’s lawyer Neama Rahmani released an accompanying statement, stating that Soulja Boy’s “treatment of our client, as an employee and as a person who deserves respect, has traumatised and filled her with fear

His abuse imprisoned her physically, mentally and emotionally. When she mustered the courage to flee, he impoverished her. His exploitation severely hampered our client’s ability to re-establish herself in the workplace and in society. We believe he should be held accountable.”

A representative for the accused strongly denied all of the allegations in a statement given to TMZ. “Soulja would never put his hands on a female,” it reads. “He wouldn’t beat a woman or put his hands on a woman…this is non-sense!!!”
