Aussie rock festival Spring Loaded has announced a packed 2023 lineup featuring some of the country’s finest alternative bands.

Spring Loaded will hit Bribie Island’s Sandstone Point Hotel on Saturday, June 3rd, for a massive one-day party.

And this one’s definitely for the ’90s kids – a whole host of Aussie rock icons from that decade will be performing at the festival. Leading the way are the beloved Spiderbait, who sound excited at the prospect of linking up with so many of their ’90s peers.

“What a great lineup, we are so stoked to be headlining, will be awesomely awesome!” Kram from the band says. “A lot of great memories for us playing with amazing bands like Magic Dirt & Screamfeeder – to have 3 legends like Janet, Adalita and Kellie all on the same show will be brilliant and beautiful, and all the other great bands of brothers as well, we can’t wait!”

Spiderbait are joined by Eskimo Joe, whose frontman Kav Temperley can’t wait for June. “When I see lineups like the upcoming Spring Loaded festival, I get so excited, these are all bands that have influenced our band in a major way, so to be included in this stellar lineup is just such an honour.” he says.

Joining those two on the Spring Loaded lineup are Ratcat, Shihad, Magic Dirt, and many more (see full details below).

Tickets to the festival go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 24th at 10am AEST. The 48-hour pre-sale begins on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10am AEST (sign up here).
