Rockin’ Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones has put paid to rumours that the next tour by the band will be its last. Speaking to BBC Radio4 about the prospect of next year’s tour being their farewell lap around the world to mark 50 years of them as a band, Wood said they’d never retire. Asked if they’d continue, he said “Oh definitely. The old phrase: We will rock ’til we drop!” The recovering alcoholic also revealed that he’d gone seven months without a drop of the demon drink, and said “I’ve never felt so comfortable with it.”
