In April American R&B star SZA announced she would be hitting up Aussie stages, complementing her trip up to Byron Bay for Splendour In The Grass.

The Grammy-nominated superstar lands in Australia next Friday for her biggest headline shows in the region to date and has today announced two local talents to join her.

JOY. aka 18 year old producer/singer Olivia McCarthy, and southeast Melbourne singer-songwriter KAIIT will be joining her in Sydney and Melbourne, respectively.

JOY. first burst onto the scene with her debut single ‘Captured’ in 2014, and has since rubbed shoulders with local heavyweights The Kite String Tangle, Basenji, Cosmo’s Midnight, and most recently Peking Duk as part of their ‘Like A Version’.

Meanwhile, KAIIT (think a mix between Amy Winehouse, Ms. Lauryn Hill and SZA herself) will be playing her biggest stage to date as she brings her enchanting voice to the masses.

SZA’s shows will be her first in Australia since her Australian debut with a single sold out Sydney show that left local audiences even more excited for these two headline concerts at Hordern Pavilion and Margaret Court Arena.
