Theophilus London and Tame Impala will debut new music at an intimate “Theo Impala” gig in LA next week. This is not the first time London and the Kevin Parker helmed group have collaborated – Tame Impala was credited with the production of London’s track “Whiplash” which he debuted in 2016.

Check out footage of London and Parker performing via Twitter below. The October 16 show at LA’s Peppermint Club is sold out, but another tweet from London hinted at the possibility of a Theo Impala tour.

The music is set to appear on London’s forthcoming album BeBey, with the next single due at some point this month. Representatives for Tame Impala told Pitchfork that “no tour is planned.” and confirmed that Kevin Parker had worked on two tracks with London.

Tame Impala released the collectors edition of their 2015 album Currents late last year, and Kevin Parker recently revealed he hopes a new record will be out next year. The Aussie icon was rumoured to be collaborating with Mark Ronson and SZA on a track earlier this year, however it seems like that won’t see the light of day.
