Tekashi 6ix9ine’s testimony in court this week has led to two men being convicted on racketeering charges.
The rapper has been in the headlines more than he’s been out of them recently, with his trial revealing more about his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
In recent weeks, Tekashi has been open about his role in the gang – namely to finance the gang’s purchase of guns etc – and has even implemented Cardi B as a member. Now, two high ranking members of the gang, Anthony ‘Harv’ Ellison and Aljermiah ‘Nuke’ Mack, have been found guilty of racketeering and firearms crimes.

Ellison was also charged with involvement in the alleged kidnapping of the rapper last year. He was found guilty of racketeering conspiracy and kidnapping, while Mack was found guilty of racketeering conspiracy and conspiring to distribute narcotics, according to The New York Times.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalised after being kidnapped and pistol whipped in 2018. Because of his testimony, the rapper is expected to be released from jail early. Originally, he was facing a 47 year minimum stint, but is now expecting a reduced sentence.
While he sits in jail, 50 Cent is apparently working on a movie about Tekashi’s life.
“I’m working boy,” he told a fan on Instagram who asked him about the rumoured film project.

Take it with a grain of salt because 50 Cent is a notorious Instagram troll, but with the runaway success of Power in recent years, a film about a snitching rapper and gang life could actually take off.
