The Bennies Australian Tour 2014 has been announced.

Melbourne’s kings of stoner party jams, The Bennies have returned from Asia re-energised, re-invigorated and ready to embark on their second national tour in just six months.

Reluctant to pause for breath, the four-piece will take brief respite over Christmas before charging into 2014 to hand-deliver their summer party vibes to regional and metro audiences alongside grunge brothers Apart From This.

They’ll also be dropping in on two of Australia’s biggest summer festival dates, Push Over and Soundwave, while Triple J has hand-picked the band among 20 Aussie artists in their Next Crop of acts likely to break in 2014.

The Bennies recently returned from China and Japan where they paid visit to their exuberant and substantial fanbase, and obliterated cultural and language barriers by way of reggae-infused punk rock.

Their second album Rainbows In Space received a totally raucous reception upon release in November, including from Tone Deaf who named it Album of the Week as our reviewer gushed that it “might be one of the most exciting releases of the year.”

Adding: “If you’re looking for some great punk rock laced with ska, packed full of humour, and topped off with some classic drug references – look no further.”

Get your daily dose of metal, rock, indie, pop, and everything else in between.

Their live show is no different, a rollicking good time of guitar riffs, thundering rock, and good-natured hilarity, as fans will get to experience on their ‘Knights Forever’ 2014 tour.

The Bennies bandwagon is shrouded in smoke, streamers and LED lights and it’s slowly leaving the station. Jump on board now or forever be ‘that guy’.
