The Cat Empire have just unleashed the magnificent video for their single ‘Sola’, the latest track from their forthcoming record Stolen Diamonds.
Sola was recorded alongside Calexico star Depedro and is sung predominately in Spanish. The Cat Empire frontman Felix Reibl has revealed that this track is a song “for all our Spanish speaking fans”, detailing “Sola features Depedro from Madrid, who we met many years ago at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. He plays with one of my favourite bands Calexico, but is also a very well respected artist in his own right.”
The video for Sola is another instalment in the band’s series of 360° performance series. It’s an all-encompassing sensory experience, check it out below.
