The latest album by Korn came out at the back end of 2019, with the nu-metal legends continuing to deliver emotion, aggression and heartache 25 years on.

Revolver Mag called The Nothing their best album in over 10 years, and Korn even treated a bunch of lucky fans to a special release performance last September.

The show was professionally shot, with the edition you’re about to see directed by Sebastien Paquet.

In a statement, the band said that releasing the film now was part of an effort to acknowledge all their fans who’ve supported Korn down the years.

“On September 13, 2019, we held a private event for some of our biggest fans in Los Angeles, CA to celebrate the release of our album, ‘The Nothing’,” they said.

“This special director’s cut concert film, directed and edited by Sébastien Paquet, is for all of you who have supported us and weren’t able to attend this exclusive event inside of a living art installation. We hope you enjoy the experience.”

The entire performance took place inside a living art installation, and the show also aired for the first time recently as part of Warner Music Group’s PlayOnFest.

Korn has been keeping busy during the coronavirus pandemic, with members of the band teaming up with guys from Megadeth and Tool to host a bass and drum seminar on Zoom recently.

They also began selling their own Korn-branded surgery masks, which sold out in quick time.
