If there’s anyone that could use a good trolling, it’s the judges of unfairly popular reality television singing contest The Voice and that’s just what the multi-talented Neil Patrick Harris did on his new show, Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris.

Harris donned prosthetics and a wig to pose as Jurgen, the newly minted host of The Voice Austria, who visits the set of the US version of the show in order to get a few tips from the pro judges — Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton — and host Carson Daly.

We then see Harris as Jurgen putting the superstar judges through some painfully awkward interviews, before he takes the stage to sing ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’, the anthemic number from the end of Dream Girls, made famous by Jennifer Hudson.

The judges eventually suspect something is up and each go for the ceremonial button-press, including a visibly bemused Pharrell Williams, before Harris reveals his true identity. The whole thing is worth watching just for Pharrell’s facial expressions.
