We really thought we’d seen the end of this saga, but it is never-ending. The latest instalment of the complicated Weezer x Toto x Weird Al Yankovic chronicle has more dimensions than an ambitious Christopher Nolan film.

In this latest episode. Weezer have released an official video for their cover of Toto’s ‘Africa’, the video starts Weird Al Yankovic as Rivers Cuomo and the entire thing is a shot-for-shot re-creation of Weezer’s 1994 video for ‘Sweater Song’.

Back in August, Weezer brought out Weird Al on stage at their L.A. show to perform their now iconic cover of ‘Africa’. Then, a few weeks ago – Toto released a cover of Weezer’s ‘Hash Pipe’. Oh, and in case you missed it, this whole thing started from a single fan-driven campaign, instigated by a fourteen. Read all about it here.

So without further ado, here’s the Weird Al Yankovic x Weezer cover of Toto’s Africa. As well as Weezer’s video for ‘Sweater Song’, for your comparative pleasure. God bless 2018.
