As music fans we’ll be the first to admit that sometimes we can take our obsession with an artist or band a little too far, but boy, sometimes these things really can come back to bite us – which is most certainly the case of this poor lass.
Ellia Beasley, once a huge fan of the widely popular Welsh rock outfit the Lostprophets, has suffered from the ultimate form of regret after getting a massive tattoo of the band’s most popular, song ‘Rooftops’, as A Journal Of Musical Things points out.
Back in 2012, Beasley got this huge piece of ink etched into her lower belly region sporting the chorus lyrics “scream your heart out” which sadly for her and the rest of the world, was not long before the disgustingly sick news broke that the lead singer, Ian Watkins, had committed horrific child sex atrocities, all of which lead to his incarceration for 29 years and of course, a dissolution of the band.

Obviously tormented by terrible occurrence, Beasley has since attempted to rectify the situation and instead of going through the pain of burning the tattoo off – she’s painted over the top of it with a spread owl, take a gander at the memory-removal here:
Despite the artists fantastic effort to rid Beasley of any Lostprophets lyrics, this does stand as a shining example – always think twice before you get a tattoo of your favourite band, you never know what it could stand for later.

Just last month we unbelievably reported on a group in the UK who were advertising on Gumtree for a lead singer to join their Lostprophets cover band – suggesting that the world may have just found the most inappropriate tribute band.
