We recently announced that along with their appearance as one of the top-billed acts for the massive lineup of Bluesfest 2013, Wilco would be playing a series of Bluesfest sideshows including a show at at the esteemed Sydney Opera House.

Well, now there’s more good news for Sydney fans of the group. Due to an overwhelming response to the members pre-sale, Sydney Opera House have added a second and final concert for the Chicago six-piece.

Wilco’s Sydney Opera House show is part of a contemporary program that will include concerts from Australia’s most cherished acts, such as Neil Finn and Paul Kelly’s double act, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ recently announced Australian Tour, the return of Dead Can Dance, and Sarah Blasko’s orchestral show.

Music at the House 2013 will also include international performances from First Aid Kit, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Kings of Convenience

If Melbourne’s ravenous appetite is anything to go by, these tickets are sure to go quick, so be sure to be ready when they go on sale to the general public.
