William Shatner is god. There, we said it. And apart from Dave Grohl he may actually be the coolest guy on the planet, certainly the coolest starship captain. That’s why when we saw this video we just had to share it with you.

We revealed last month that Shatner was working on a new album titled ‘Seeking Major Tom’ which was released last week. The album features collaborations with Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Paice of Deep Purple, Peter Frampton, Johnny Winter, Michael Schenker, Steve Howe of Yes, Black Label Society leader Zakk Wylde, and Mike Inez of Alice In Chains to name a few.

The first glimpse we got into the project was when Shatner released the recording of Black Sabbath classic Iron Man last month which you can have a listen to here. Now Shatner has stepped it up a notch, releasing his first music video for his cover of Queen classic ‘Bohemian Rapsody’. In it Shatner plays the part of the universe. Yep, he has lost the plot and we love it!

Check out the video below, we challenge you not to smile.
