Sydney brew legends Young Henrys has announced that their revered live music series, Best Served Loud, will return to Melbourne next month.

On Friday, June 11th, Max Watts will host live performances from some of the most beloved names in Australian music. Headlined by punk heroes UV Race, whose pummelling output has soundtracked the sound of Melbourne city for over a decade.

UV Race will be joined by new-wave act Hierophants, rock’n’roll trailblazers R.M.F.C., and Parsnip — who recently unveiled their excellent EP Adding Up. Opening the evening will be Green Child DJs aka Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring / Total Control) and Raven Mahon, so you know you’re in for a playlist of blistering punk cuts.

The whole shebang kicks off at 7:30 pm. You can sign up for free, early-bird tickets below.

Young Henrys’ Best Served Loud live music series first kicked off in Melbourne back in 2019, before making its way up to Sydney in 2020 when the good dudes at Young Henrys helped bring live music back to Waywards, The Bank after months of closure. It’s gonna be a celebration.
