Awards season rolls on, with the recent Grammy winner confirmed to take to the Oscars stage.

Billie Eilish is a name that people can’t get off their screens right now, it’s not hard to see why. Following on from the 18 year old’s Hottest 100 win here in Australia, Eilish has been back in the hot seat at home.

After cleaning up at the Grammys, Billie Eilish is now set to appear at another staple on the American awards circuit: the Academy Awards.

The Academy revealed the news ahead of the weekend, billing Eilish with a ‘special performance’. Given that Eilish hasn’t had any of her music submitted for Oscar nomination, we’re assuming she’ll be giving audiences a first taste of her song penned especially for the new James Bond film, No Time To Die.

The Oscars are taking place this year at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, on February 9th. As well as Billie Eilish, performers scheduled to appear include Randy Newman, Elton John, Idina Menzel, AURORA, Cynthia Erivo and Chrissy Metz.
